Field Conference Minutes and Reports 1945-1976.

The records consist of minutes and reports of the field conferences of the LMNG and its Executive Committee. Conference reports include reports from stations, institutions, departments, and superintendents. The reports for 1974 and 1975 were listed as confidential missionary reports, but are in reality station reports, similar to prior station reports presented at field conferences and not listed as confidential. In 1976 the reports really are individual missionary reports and seem to have been requested by the bishop. It is unclear from these minutes and reports whether the LMNG continued holding field conferences separate from the ELCONG after 1974. Boxes 1 and 2 contain conference minutes. Box 2 also includes Executive Committee minutes. Boxes 3-7 contain conference reports. They are arranged chronologically within boxes. Conferences were numbered beginning with 1947 as number one. There are no reports for 1966 and 1970.
